One of the highest priority areas of GoR is making drinking water available to common people. GoR contemplated supply of drinking water to 9 towns and 1688 villages of Bhilwara district (including 23 en-route villages of Bundi district) with raw water from the Chambal River. PDCOR prepared the Detailed Feasibility Report for PHED. The project is under implementation and will provide sustainable drinking water to about 25 lakh people.

PDCOR acted as project development consultant to study feasibility and prepare a DPR for providing water to un-serviced parts of Nagaur District via the Indira Gandhi Canal based Nagaur Lift Water Supply project. The project is under implementation with assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It will provide safe drinking water to 7 towns and 978 villages suffering from acute scarcity and contaminated ground water.

The company is working with the Water Resources Department to augment the reliability of Bisalpur Dam by transferring surplus water of the Chambal Basin to Brahmini to Bisalpur Dam (Banas Basin) to ensure sufficient water availability up to the year 2045. It will benefit approximately 1.26 crore people in 19 towns of Ajmer and Jaipur districts. The Detailed Feasibility Report suggested the best option for the Chambal - Bisalpur Link Project.

The company worked with PHED to prepare a Feasibility Report for supplying drinking water to urban and rural areas of Alwar district from the Chambal river. GoR requested the inclusion of remaining areas in Dholpur and Bharatpur districts. The final feasibility report was submitted in May 2015 and approved by PHED's Technical Committee. The scheme will benefit about 1.4 crore people till 2051.

The Company is undertaking a Survey and preparing a Detailed Project Report and Tender documents for PHED for a sustainable surface source-based drinking water supply project for 1249 villages, 3 towns, and 137 other habitations in the Udaipur region. Final Reports for Administrative, Financial, and Technical sanction have been submitted. The project will benefit around 22.23 lakh people over design year 2051.

To help resolve drinking water problems in problematic habitations of selected villages/towns in Jodhpur and Barmer districts, the Company is working with PHED as a project development consultant for the Parallel Carrier System to the Rajiv Gandhi Lift Canal. The inception report and feasibility report have been submitted. The project will benefit around one crore people till year 2051.

To resolve the drinking water problem in 60 villages and 183 other habitations of Jaisalmer district, the company is working with PHED on a Drinking Water Supply Project from 105 RD SMG branch of Indira Gandhi Nahar Project. As project development consultant, the Company is carrying out topographical surveys, geotechnical investigations, and preparing the DPR and Draft Tender Document. It will enable 1.5 lakh people to have clean water up to year 2051.

Inhabitants of Prithviraj Nagar (South) and the Jamdoli Agra Road area of Jaipur city raised a demand for a reliable water supply scheme. The Company is working with PHED as project development consultant, conducting topographical surveys, engineering design, and source feasibility studies. The inception report and survey details have been submitted. This project will benefit about 8.5 lakh people.

In the 2013-14 Budget, the State Government announced water supply projects for 322 villages in Chouhatan, 140 villages in Gudamalani, and 205 villages in Sheo and Ramsar tehsils of Barmer District. PHED engaged the Company for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report and Tender Document. The mandate is completed, and the project is under implementation by PHED.

PHED engaged the Company to prepare DPRs and Tender Documents for water supply projects covering 267 villages (FR project), 138 villages (DR project), and 263 villages (HR-1 project) in Jalore and Barmer districts. The mandate also included upgrading estimates for 256 villages and Bhinmal Town in Jalore. The mandate is completed, and the project is under implementation by PHED.

PDCOR was assigned by PHED to prepare village water security plans and DPRs for 859 villages across six districts of the Udaipur region as per the NRDWP. Technical DPRs cum Village Water Security Plans were prepared for 833 villages based on social, hydrological, institutional, household, and topographic surveys. Funding was approved by GoI, and projects have been implemented by PHED.

The State Water Resource Planning Dept assigned the Company to review and recommend amendments to existing water legislations to establish a comprehensive framework meeting GoR objectives. The revised draft report on "Draft Water Bills" was submitted in September 2015. The Final Report will be submitted after incorporating comments received from the Department on the Draft Bills.
